About

Built by one engineer.

Why this exists

An AI coding agent said “done”. It was not.

The reviewers of the day read the diff — the lines of code that changed. They did not read the claim: what the agent said it had done.

ThruLine reads the claim, and checks it against what actually ran, on the exact version — the commit — you are about to approve.

Below is a different claim, from ThruLine’s checkout-web demo record, and where its proof stops.

01

Every fact traces to a line.

Every fact on screen traces to a line in your own session logs: the file, and the line in it. The record is only ever added to, never edited, and it is hash-chained — each entry carries a fingerprint of the one before, so a changed byte breaks the chain. Security sets out what stays on your machine.

02

“Claimed, and no proof found in the record.” Never “lie”.

When nothing in the record backs a claim, ThruLine says so, in exactly those words. “Not proven” is not “broken”: the claim may be entirely true.

Not proven · nothing in the record shows it
03

Ambiguity is silence.

Where the record is ambiguous, ThruLine does not guess and does not accuse: it says nothing. The verdict path is deterministic — the same record always gives the same answer — and no model decides it.
